Tea Light Safety

  • Keep tea lights out of the reach of children and pets;
  • Keep tea lights and candles away from draughts and flammable materials;
  • Never leave burning tea lights or candles unattended;
  • Do not move tea lights when lit or when wax is still liquid;
  • Beware the metal case of the tea light will get hot;
  • Always use a suitable tea light holder and place on a heat resistant surface;
  • If candle overheats, cover with a damp cloth to extinguish never use water;
  • Do not use oil in burners or lanterns where there is less than 8cm / 3 inches of space above the flame.
